BHS Art Student's Work Displayed at Governor's Youth Art Exhibit

BHS freshman art student Darah Khieu's digital artwork has been chosen among the top 300 student artworks from across the state of Ohio to be featured in the 55th Annual Ohio Governor's Art Exhibition.

Nearly 8,000 pieces of art were submitted from approximately 2,500 students across the state. Darah's work was among the top 3 percent that will be recognized at the May 4th Awards Ceremony at the Davidson Theatre in the Verne Riffe Center for Government and the Arts.  

If you'd like to visit the Governor's Art Exhibit, it opens for viewing from April 21 to May 15 at the James Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus. 

Darah's work also earned a Scholastic Art Show Gold Key, and moved on  to National competition.
