What Makes Stadium Drive Special

Patriot Day Tree Planting with fire chief and police officer

Connection to Community

The annual Patriot Day Tree Planting ceremony is one example of the way Stadium Drive fosters great connections with the community.

Our emergency forces are very visible for our students, with several fire safety visits every year, the K-9 officer and other police visits, and various lessons about being healthy and drug free during Red Ribbon Week events.

Spartans Start Strong

Success by Six is offerred for all incoming kindergarten students in the Boardman School District to get them ready for school in August.

This free summer program runs for several weeks (usually during the month of July) and includes busing.  In partnership with the United Way of the Mahoning Valley, this kindergarten readiness program focuses on motor skills, classroom procedures, bus safety, and includes time for art, STEM and fun outdoors.

Stadium Drive Loves STEM

Who knew STEM could be so much fun?

Stadium Drive students need no convincing. They use simple tools like rubber bands, paper, glue and paperclips, and through trial and error, find a way to build a structure without any supports to the ground.

STEM projects like these help to establish connections to physical principles, as well as work in a team setting.
