This marks the 10th year of an incredible partnership between Boardman Subaru and Glenwood Junior High. Through the years, Boardman alumnus and dealership owner Rob Fellman and his team have supported everything from our Natural Habitat Garden to science books, school supplies and now classroom resources for teachers!

What a great performance from the Boardman Spartan Marching Band today, as they helped kick off Opening Day at the Canfield Fair.
Section leaders played the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony, where Spartan Alum Bernie Kosar was among the dignitaries on the stage.
The Traditional Band Show at the Grandstand was filled with wonderful music from 14 bands across the Valley-- and in this "100th Anniversary Year" of the Boardman Marching Band- we could not be more Spartan proud!!

Stadium Drive Elementary is celebrating seven outstanding third graders who earned perfect scores on this year’s state math assessment — placing them among just 19 third graders across the district to achieve this accomplishment.
Students Jonah, Julian, Nikitas, Dominic, Jordan, Carter, and Beckett were surprised with a special visit from Superintendent Chris Neifer and members of the Board of Education, who stopped by to personally congratulate them and present certificates.
A big congratulations to these students, and to their teachers Mrs. Wymer and Mrs. Fortunato for their support and dedication throughout the year!

Kindergartners at Stadium Drive celebrated Memorial Day through song this morning, honoring those who serve and have served our country. After weeks of practice, students delivered a performance that was equal parts adorable and meaningful, reminding us all of the importance of gratitude and patriotism.
Our youngest performers brought such heart to the stage, and that is a direct result of the incredible preparation and work happening behind the scenes by our kindergarten teachers to make this special show possible.
We truly live in a great country, and this Memorial Day weekend, we take time to reflect, remember, and be grateful for those who have sacrificed for our freedoms.❤️🤍💙

West Boulevard Principal Al Cervello, five West Blvd. elementary teachers, some of our Spartan athletes and cheerleaders and Sparty himself were at Burlington's new store early this morning for the store's ribbon cutting.
As part of the opening, Burlington and Adopt a Classroom made a $5,000 Donation for West Boulevard. Each teacher will receive a portion of funds in their adopt a classroom account to fill classroom needs.

🌸✈️ Japan Week at Stadium Drive! 🇯🇵
Our 2nd graders in Jessica Kohler and Brittany Krestel’s classrooms took an unforgettable trip across the world—without ever leaving school!
With the help of the amazing Shirley Matula (“Miss Shirley”), students welcomed special guest Noriko Silver from the Japanese School in Cleveland to learn all about Japanese culture.
✨ Highlights from the week:
🍣 Tried sushi (many for the first time!) & learned about bento boxes
🚄 Discovered the speed of the Shinkansen
🎌 Practiced Japanese greetings
🎎 Learned about traditions like Girls’ Day & Boys’ Day
🎥 Loved the anime visuals
🥋 Excited for a live demo from Justin Taylor of Junior Tae Kwon Do School
Students also explored what a typical school day looks like in Japan—even taking responsibility for keeping their classroom clean, just like students there!
💬 “This mirrors the educational experience of Japan,” shared Noriko, highlighting the importance of learning language and culture at a young age.

West Boulevard Elementary kiddos hunt was in the morning--and Stadium Drive and Robinwood's hunt was at noon.
A Big thank you to the Boardman High School Key Club & Emerging Leaders for stuffing and hiding more than a thousand eggs--and even more importantly opening juice boxes and candy wrappers --SOOOO much fun for all today!
